The Black Forest

Saturday we decided to take a little trip to the Black Forest and what a beautiful time of year to do that! We drug our friend David along who is here TDY for 4 months. We saw the world's biggest coo coo clock, Germany's tallest waterfall and had black forest cake! It was a nice day, not too hot, not too cold and the kids did great. We also found a castle along the way that is now a youth hostel, but stil a very pretty sight! We didn't make it to mermaid lake, but we can do that another time. The town of Triberg is a nice little place with lots of shopping and friendly people. No McDonalds for Cody though so he had to settle for pizza at the restaraunt we found. It was a fun day and nice to get out for a little bit. Driving in Germnay this time of year is so pretty. The leaves are changing and the colors are just amazing. It is something I will definately miss when we leave!
