Well the day that we have all been waiting for has finally arrived. Not as soon as we had hoped, but that is the Air Force for you! In the next 8 weeks we will be taking this family of five.....oops six (forgot the dog) and flying across the Atlantic ocean to settle at our new location the military has chosen for us......McGuire AFB, New Jersey. If you look at this map you will find Burlington County. That is the area we will be calling home. We will be roughly 15 miles from Trenton, the state capital, 90 minutes from New York City, 45 min from Philadelphia and 3 hours from Washington DC. Oh and the coast of course is just a short drive away. So if anyting there will be plenty to keep us busy!
Now we are trying to focus on the good since this is as far from what we were hoping or as possible, but just one major drawback.....the cost of living. It's not good when one key point is that car insurance is very expensive and the cost of living is about 8.95% higher than the national average. So that is a bit worrisome. Did I spell that right?
Anyway now everyone knows and now when people ask "Where are you moving?" I have an answer. Finally! On to the fun of moving...for real this time!

Yeah.. for you, but we are a tad disappointed selfishly :) I am ver excited for you guys and it's about time you have real orders!
