Russo's Farm

This farm has been in the family for 4 generations and the 5th generation is currently being trained to take it over when they are old enough! They have apple orchards and grow everything from corn to onions to pumpkins. All year round they have various things you can pick yourself. We took a hay ride to the field where the corn maze was then we drove around the rest of the farm. We stopped where most of the pumpkins were grown to see if there were any left that we liked. Up front they had most of them, but the boys found some in the field. It was a fun day. We brought home pumpkins, corn and delicious apple cider! The produce is expensive, but so worth it!

It really wasn't that cold, just wet. Earlier in the week we were in the 70's, but we get the cold fronts and then being by the coast the weather can change pretty quickly. They say this is not normal either, they predict a much wetter and colder winter this year.
