To make the day historically correct we had to come in the pouring rain right? well no a nice day would have been more ideal, but can't control mother nature! Fort McHenry is where the Star Spangled Banner was written. It's not a big fort and I still can't believe that the 80 men that were in it managed to scare the British off! Nevertheless they did and the famous song was written and then later became our national anthem.
