Saturday morning soccer games and random updates

Soccer started a few weeks ago, but we seem to forget the camera in the rush to get everyone out the door. Saturday Zach had to take the boys to games since I had a meeting at the church. I was home to get them all out the door and make sure they had everything so I made sure the camera went! Unfortunately Zach got three pictures at Tyler's game and 9 at Ryan's. So maybe next Saturday we will do better!

Both teams won. Ryan almost had a goal and as you can see in the one picture Cody fell asleep! This is the result of his new meds. He wakes up several times a night and then falls asleep odd times of the day. He never would have slept on the grass before! Tyler's team scored 4 goals to win their game. He has a good coach again this year and is having fun. He has been in a nutrition class on base for the last 6 weeks and he is very happy that he can wear his shorts from last year again! He is voluntarily running laps and doing more to stay active. He understands better that every body type is different and unfortunately his is not one where he can eat whatever and whenever he wants. The class helped me learn to avoid the quick and easy boxed food! I cleaned out the kitchen and we have done much better on planning meals. It's hard being so busy, but it's working better. I take salad for lunches and we are all trying to do a better job!

And I think the lat update is that Cody was able to get his MRI Friday. I was there for the first hour, which of course consisted of us sitting and doing nothing! They tell us to be in the Peds ward at 6:45 and no one is there! They didn't have patients so the night shift was able to go home. THe day shift didn't come in until 7 so they had someone from the mother and baby ward come over till the day shift came in. Then we sat and waited on the pediatrician. He finally showed up as I needed to leave. I stayed to answer the questions that Zach didn't know and then headed out. Zach had to do the hard stuff with getting the IV in and all. Cody was still not going out with two syringes of the sedation meds so they were debating whether to put a third or call an anesthisiologist. He finally went out! The neurologist is TDY so it will be a few weeks before we hear back on the MRI. But it is done and another thing crossed off the to do list!

Oh just a moving update.....there is nothing to report! Still no orders, still no idea where we are headed or when.
