MRI was a no go.......

This has been a rough day! We got up early for Cody's MRI. First we had to get Tyler and Ryan to SAS (school age services) then get grumpy, hungry Cody to the peds ward in the hospital. He was not happy when we got there and kept asking to go home. They did vitals and were concerned about his stuffy nose. At first they said it wasn't in his lungs so we were good. we changed him into his PJ's and noticed a rash on his belly. The nurse thought it was hives so decided we needed a pediatrcian to come up. He was delayed becuase the peds clinic had water leaking due to broken pipes. So after being there an hour or so he finally made it up. In the midst of this MRI calls and says that now COdy has missed his slotted time so we may have to wait several hours becuase they were booked solid. The pediatrician decided the stuffy nose was borderline, the rash was okay, but needed to be watched and the MRI needed to be rescheduled! So next week we try again. What a pain! Poor Cody is so tired of seeing doctors and exam rooms so I feel really bad for him.

And as if that weren't bad enough Zach's work is being real pains in the butt! The ranking guy in his shop got a DUI this weekend and was involved in a collision. So now Zach is in charge and they want him on day shift. They said he could finish out swings this week to allow time to get childcare for Cody arranged again. Well this afternoon when he went in they decided he needs to go to days tomorrow! So now I have to scramble to get childcare for Cody. Am I doing everything wrong these days or what? I love working at the school, but it seems things have gone seriosuly downhill! Zach says it's just a test and we need to stick together and get through it. I am not sure I can take much more! I keep telling myself these are small things compared to what others deal with.
