Cars, cars, and yes more cars!

For those that know Zach well will understand this little adventure. The base paper advertised a car show in downtown Kaiserslautern and the base also had a little one too so Saturday was all about cars. The base show was very small as we expected, but Zach knew a few people and there were mustangs and a really nice corvette so not a complete waste of time. The boys got to vote on their favorite car, but now they want to know if theirs won! Not sure how I will find that out. So after killing an hour on base we ventured to downtwon Kaiserslautern. This was not an ordinary car show. Usually the cars are in a large parking lot or something so you can go up and down the rows. This one you had to find each little cluster of cars throughout town. If we would have started by the big fountain then we would have gotten the map first, but we didn't. We started at the fire trucks and then went down a side street which then made it hard to figure out where we were, but we found cars so Zach was happy. I think we saw most of the cars after looking at the map. I will do two collages since there were so many pictures. There were some very interesting things such as a Porsche tractor! Lots of Herbies (Volkswagon bugs, but the kids call them all Herbies) and of course a few mustangs. It was a tiring day after all the walking, but the kids had fun.
