Little known facts about me........

Yesterday I went to the lunch bunch up at the church. I have had so many things come up and go wrong in the last week that I wasn't going to stay, just get my visiting teaching stuff done then go, but I figured I was there and needed to stay. There are so many new faces that we went around to introduce ourselves. I blame some on lack of sleep, but I really didn't know what to say about myself other than the obvious facts, I am married, have three boys, lived here two years, etc. A friend, who has known me longer than anyone there, chimed in and went on about how organized I am and help others even when I need help. I was very flattered and thought man someone sees me that way? So anyway as I was cleaning bathrooms yesterday afternoon I got to thinking, which is not ever a good thing, but I decided to post some little known facts about me.

1. I was born in Kansas and at the time my parents had a pig farm and yes Zach teases me and says "were you born on a farm? Oh yeah you were!" He thinks he's so funny. I was really born in a hospital, well almost the highway, but my parents made it to the hospital in time.

2. I played French Horn in Junior High and love any music that I can hear the French Horn. I was first chair in band was even trusted to use the school's brand new horn! It was beautiful and I really babied it!

3. I got married on my birthday. No it was not something I ever wanted, but it was the only available time the temple had so Zach is lucky and only has to remember one date! Every few years my birthday falls on Thanksgiving so we get to cram three celebrations into one day!

4. Deep down I am still very shy. Approaching people is very hard for me, but I have learned to deal with it out of necessity. I don't really like being the center of attention and tend to get very quiet.

5. When I am upset or having a bad day I clean. I get great satisfaction in seeing the house clean and it makes me feel better. I think too much when I clean though so that gets me in trouble somtimes.

6. I also love to organize things. Just yesterday I took all the books off the bookshelf and reorganized them by size. It really bugs me to see them on there so sloppy! All of my scrapbook paper is organized by color from light to dark.

7. I love to weed! Someday I hope to have a nice big garden and flower beds to weed! It is relaxing and even more fun when you have friends to weed and chat with. So if you need some help weeding, now you know who to call!

8. I have certain songs I listen to depending on my mood. It's funny how Zach has never picked up on that, but I do.

9. I hate shopping for clothes for me! I love buying for the boys, but dread shopping for me.

10. I have lots of pet peaves like taking shoes off without untying them. I can't stand that! I also hate when I am washing pans that won't fit in the dishwasher and everyone dumps more things in there when the sink is clearly full! I mean the sinks here are not that big and cups can go in the dishwasher!

So now you kow some little things about me that you may not have known before. Cody and I have to get preparations made for our trip to Salzburg this weekend so be looking for pictures on Monday, well maybe Monday depending how tired I am!
