Tomorrow morning is the big day for Zach to have Lasik eye surgery! I know he is very nervous, but I am way excited. He doens't look bad with glasses, has had them since I have known him, but his eye sight is so bad I know he will be happier. Now when he deploys there won't be any worries over all the inserts he has to have or glasses breaking while being away. He keeps saying it might work, but he is not planning to be free of glasses. He just needs to be an optimist like me! I'll update later to let everyone know how it went.

When Dave had his surgery and healed enough to open his eyes the next day, he was like a little kid...examining everything he could see that he couldn't before...including the mold I had let grow in the shower grout. He loves being able to see underwater now too. Thank heaven for lasik!
I hope it went well. I wish I could have it...waiting until the prices drop since I have to pay out of pocket! Love the military benefits!
