The walk to the fortress was very steep and seemed much longer than it really was! What made it more difficult was the gravel was slick that I kept slipping while trying to push the stroller. Zach took it and so Cody screamed the whole way and wanted out becuase I was not pushing him. Tyler was also not helping the situation. He is definately at the age of well I call it "bad attitude". He was complaining about why everywhere we go we have to walk and hike up to these "stupid places" in his words. All I can say is someday down the road I had better hear him say "Thanks for taking me all those place. It was a great experience." Maybe that will never happen. We did all agree that we would not be dumb enough to try and attack this fortress! Maybe that is why it is still standing!
Once the hike was over the views of the city and all were well worth it. Ryan is the curious one so found all sorts of interesting things like a cow, the pyramid thing that of course he couldn't resist climbing. We tried to have Tyler take pictures, but he has now decided he doesn't want to do that anymore. Funny how a month ago in Berlin he was all about taking our picture! We got a few, not great, but proof we were there!
