Munich soccer stadium at night. Really blurry, but hard to avoid considering we were on the autobahn! The day time one is much better, but we had just come out of traffice for an accident.
The plan for the weekend was to leave for Salzburg as soon as Zach got home from work. I had everything packed and loaded in the van and then he got home a little later than planned. I had requested late check in at our hotel so no big deal. Anyone who has driven in Germany or anywhere around here knows that the GPS may say 4 hours, but with construction and staus (a stau is what they call traffic jam) it will be at least 5. We hit a lot of construction on the autobahn that slowed us down, but at least we didn't ever come to a complete stop and just sit like previous trips. The kids did very well and we ended up getting to the hotel by 10 pm. On the way we saw the soccer stadium in Munich all lit up. At first it was red, then it changed to blue. The pictures aren't very good so on the way home we got some day time shots as well.
