Leopoldskron Palace (day 2)
This palace was also another place that you could spend a day at! And with free parking for once! Right by it there is a huge swimming pool, mini golf and all sorts of entertainment. The lake has a very nice walking path and people were along the side fishing. This palace was used in the Sound of Music as the back of the von trapp house and is not that far from Hellbrunn palace. We had bread in the van for sandwiches so we let them kids feed some to the ducks that were in the lake. Once we fed one, a whole bunch came quickly! Cody got a big kick out of this, guess he has never fed ducks before. Ryan threw a piece and was amazed the duck leaped out of the water and caught it in it's mouth! We came across a rather large, slow duck who was not interested in eating the bread. Ryan and Tyler kept throwing pieces trying to get it to eat, but it just swam around ignoring them. Cody was not happy when we ran out of bread and even more upset when he saw the mini golf and we didn't have time to go play!

We loved Salzburg too, it looks like you had a wonderful time. When we went there it snowed! Did you stay at the Hinterbrand?
